This project was undertaken as part of my University
degree.

This 3D gallery is part of a promotional CD-ROM for a
contemporary visual artist. The chosen artist was
Vincenzo Balsamo. I Enjoyed viewing his work and
concequently felt that i could create a better CD-ROM for
something that i liked and enjoyed.

The idea behind the 3D gallery is quite simple. Traditionally
artwork is showed/viewed in a gallery, so i decided that i
would show my aritists work in a digital gallery. The CD
layout is such that the user is able to select a section of
painting and they are"taken" to them through the gallery.
They can then use navigational techniques to view the
individual paintings of that section.
